The app is a tool both for you who are already a blood donor and for those who are interested in becoming a blood donor.
Here you will find, among other things, the criteria for being able to provide blood and an overview of quarantine rules, as well as general information on blood donation and where you can give blood.
Through a self-test for new donors, you will find out if you can enroll as a blood donor and how to enroll. Furthermore, you will be able to read news from the blood bank (eg changes in travel quarantine or opening hours) and, if desired, receive push alerts for any anemia situations.
If you take the apps self-test for established donors, you will find out if you meet the criteria for giving blood today.
You can also find information about the timetable via the internet, telephone or e-mail. The content of the app has been developed by the Blood Bank in Oslo at Oslo University Hospital, but is available in custom versions for several other blood banks.
